Our Story

DTLA Print was birthed out our of necessity. Nearly 15 years ago, our owner, Michael was in need of a reliable printer. He called all over Los Angeles trying to find a trustworthy business to print his designs. He had samples made at a few different shops, they all fell short. The prints felt rough, they chipped and on top of that the service was inconsistent at best. They were helpful at first but after his payment was processed he felt forgotten. Somehow, it was his responsibility to chase down sales reps for updates. If he didn’t he was lucky if his merch got produced at all let alone on time. This struggle refocused Michael’s goals, he saw that if it was going to be done right he was going to have to do it himself. He also recognized that he can’t be alone in seeking a print shop that focuses on quality over quantity. And just like that DTLA Print was born. Over the years DTLA Print has expanded far beyond screen printing shirts and is now a full production house. We offer every service under the sun in addition to finishing services and fulfillment on a case by case bases. Although, we have a lot of pride in the products we produce, we feel what sets us apart is the relationships we build. We are an intentionally small close knit team, that works in unison to bring your project to life. At the end of the day, we are aiming to fill the market gap Michael saw all those years ago and be authentic, transparent & straightforward company. We might not have the perfect product, but we will always have perfect intentions.
